Today I’m thankful for good friends. For friends that send cards, love, food and just for checking in.

Thank you. I enjoy being the one to deliver food, flowers and love and find it hard to be on the other end, but am so thankful for the love.

This evening before Mason left for work we had a conversation about how each and everyone of us is dealing with something no one knows anything about. Kindness. If we all could practice kindness what would the day be like?

I’m thankful today for both the lesson of accepting kindness and for seeking to be a practitioner each day.

When our sweet Frank passed away I went to @scoutliving to see Tatty. Just to give a sweet soul some love and heal my own heart.

We decided to take a walk on the local path. I mean how cool is this … fresh eggs available. I wish I had stashed some cash in my pocket.

The Russian River area is magnificent, slow paced and sophisticated. I’ll be back you can mark my words.

Yesterday I had the most amazing day with the most

Yesterday I had the most amazing day with the most wonderful friend. And what makes me still have to pinch myself is I met Elizabeth while at a conference a few years ago while we were avoiding the crowd sitting quietly in a window sill looking out at the ocean. Quite unexpectedly, actually.

Yesterday I spent the day with Elizabeth at her ranch in the Russian River Valley and we had such a great day.

Tea, scones, talk, an amazing walk, wine tasting, lunch and connection.

It’s exactly what I needed.

Elizabeth’s ranch is amazing. I’ll share more this week.

I’m just thankful that when we are open, even when we think we are avoiding things life has blessings. That weekend so long ago I was avoiding connection, I wanted to be alone and in that very moment I had no idea I was meeting a dear friend.

I’m thankful that my heart is always open. Im rewarded in the most amazing ways.
